THE BEST THING HAPPENED TODAY!

The mail came extra early this morning...I was outside on my deck drinking coffee and saw the mailman come by at 10:30am.  He usually comes around 2pm!  So I went to get the mail, and in it was something so special...a Mother's Day card from my Bubba!  Inside the card it said "I love you!  There's a special gift coming for you on Mother's Day!  Love, Evan."  There was also a letter.  I have to share it with you because it was THE BEST thing in the whole world!  The letter said (written in little kids handwriting):

"Mommy, Mommy, it's so wonderful here!  So many things to see and touch and smell.  Jesus made a room for me , and he's making one for you and dad too!  I feel so much better now Mommy, but I miss you.  I'm so glad God let me say Hi!  I'm just learning how to write though.  Aunt Dorothy says hi too.  We always listen to the Pirates.  Well, I've got to go for now to see my friend Greg (like Daddy).  I love you so much!  Bye Love, Evan"

My Great Aunt Dorothy ALWAYS listened to the Pirates on the radio...and Greg was a friend we met while in the CICU who passed away January 10 (born Dec 29).  This card took me totally by surprise, and I am bawling all day over it (GOOD TEARS!).  I wonder what the special gift will be tomorrow...
